NAACO Cares - Conference Charity - The Elizabeth House FoundationStarted at the 2004 Conference, a local charity in the conference city has been chosen as the NAACO Cares Conference Charity. This year's recipient will be the Elizabeth House Foundation which supports Elizabeth House, a center for pregnant and parenting teens and young adults who are experiencing significant difficulty in their parenting role. Elizabeth House is the only resource of its kind in Québec mandated to provide services to the English-speaking population. For more information about the Elizabeth House Foundation you can check out their website at www.maisonelizabethhouse.com. NAACO will be collecting financial donations for the Elizabeth House Foundation via the on-line registration system when you go to pay your conference fees. You will also have the opportunity to make a financial contribution at the conference, or by means of one of the fundraising events that will take place during the conference. NAACO wishes to thank all of it's very generous members for their continued support of the NAACO Cares Charity. |
