Mission/PurposeNAACO exists to help the individual commencement and convocation officers at member colleges and universities sharpen their skills, broaden their knowledge of how other institutions deal with these major events, and exchange ideas and information. Its conferences are member-driven; addressing topics that bear directly on its members' work. A restricted-access email exchange, or "listserv" provides a venue to ask other members any kind of commencement related question... and to get answers, often within minutes.
